Masquerade Ball Costumes

Figuring out what to wear to a masquerade ball can be quite difficult. Although usually very formal, the rules are fairly flexible due to the theme of the party. Men’s masquerade ball costumes are considerably different and can seem more boring. Although the ideal costume would also be a throwback to old Europe, it can be challenging to find these costumes for sale. The best way to imagine what the costume should look like is to think of men’s formal wear from Colonial America. The basic pieces are some type of suit. However, the suit is accented with a lace shirt, a triangle hat, shoes with buckles, and a cane. If you just want to keep everything simple.  You can wear a suit with a brightly colored shirt and add cape made out of the same color fabric. This will let you stay comfortable, figure out your costume quickly, and blend in well at the ball.
